这个书柜简直是一团糟。 它原来是白色的，油漆全部脱落。 木头完好无损，但漆面太糟糕了。 
我心想："要把它做成任何漂亮的东西，都是一项艰巨的任务。 
这个月我一直在整理花园花坛，想找个地方放几个花盆，还想把一些小型花园用品放在手边。
首先，我拿出一把旧钢丝刷开始刮削。
我不想把油漆全部擦掉（不值得这么做，因为它要放在室外，不会永远保持原样，而且现在流行简约时尚），但我想把松动的部分去掉。

我一直用两种颜色的颜料为我的花园花坛配件增色，所以这正是我的项目所需要的：
- 2 罐 Rustoleum 缎面泻湖喷漆
- 1 罐 Rustoleum 缎面红辣椒油漆
首先是书架，我在书架的侧面、顶部和搁板上都喷了漆。 在室外的高温下，漆很快就干了。 
接下来是背板，我同时在一个橡胶女佣垃圾桶的顶部涂了一层辣椒粉（里面放了很多我的花园小工具）。 
下一步是重新组装背板，并用 1 1/4 英寸的木钉将其固定在书柜上。
塔达！全部完工了，我喜欢它的外观。 它是放置一些植物、混合盆栽和我的小型园艺工具的完美地方。
